Dr George Onakkoor
Dr George Onakkoor is an eminent professor of Malayalam, as well as a gifted writer, literary critic, and well-known orator. Many of his stories have been made into films, the most famous being “Ulkkadal”. His novels and short stories have received critical acclaim and numerous accolades including the Kerala Sahithya Academy Award.
Sri Jayaraj
Sri Jayaraj Rajasekharan Nair, popularly known as Jayaraj, is an award-winning filmmaker who has mastered both mainstream and arthouse films. An engineer by education, he is most known for his films “Paithrukam”, “Deshadanam”, “Kaliyattam”, “4 the People”, “Makalkku” and “Gulmohar”. In 1999 Jayaraj started his nine-film series project “Navarasa”, each film based on one of the nine Rasas. Seven of the series have now been completed, winning several accolades.
